Olson Middle School got a dose of star power on Monday, April 7 as WWE Superstars Otis, Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa stopped by to deliver messages of strength, resilience and respect. Students had the opportunity to connect with the wrestling stars and ask questions about their experiences growing up and how they achieved their dreams.
The wrestlers also joined students in Olson’s new Unified Physical Education program, which promotes inclusion by pairing students with and without disabilities for meaningful, inclusive team-based activities.
A pair of Unified athletes from Olson were also given the special opportunity to speak at the Minnesota Sports & Events Advisory Council meeting later that evening before heading to the exciting live WWE show at Target Center.
