Social Workers and Psychologists

My name is Shane O’Leary and I consider myself lucky to have found my way here to Olson Middle School in 2022 as one of school social workers. Serving the students and families in our Olson community is a great experience that I am thankful for every day. This year I look forward to continuing to work alongside our students however I can in order to support their learning and their wellbeing. This can include meeting with students to process challenges they are facing as well as strengthening existing skills or building up new skills. I also work with families to identify and find resources that will help the family with a wide variety of needs including but not limited to housing and mental health support. My interests outside of school include biking and going to community events whenever possible.

My name is Grace McLagan and I am so excited to begin as a school social worker serving Olson Middle School as of the 2023-2024 school year! I bring with me seven years of experience in community based and medical social work and I am honored to begin my journey with school social work with the Great kids and families at Olson Middle School. I’m here to support connection to resources for our students and families and create a space for Olson students to work through challenges and celebrate achievements!  I look forward to a great year getting to know and working with the students, families and staff at Olson Middle!

My name is Rachel Krejci and I am the school psychologist at Olson Middle School. I have worked in the district for ten years and this will be my sixth year at Olson! I am looking forward to another year working with the students, staff, and families at Olson. In my role, I primarily work with students who have special education needs. However, I am also a resource for families, students, and staff who have concerns about academic, social, emotional, and/or behavioral needs.
